• When to Schedule

    • Newborns: Please contact me as soon as you know you would like to schedule your newborn session during your pregnancy. Newborns are best photographed within the first 10 days of life. I schedule your session for one week after your due date, then adjust the session date (if needed) once your little one arrives. Also, newborns are typically scheduled on weekdays in the late morning.

    • Family: Contact me as soon as you know you would like to plan a session. I typically begin scheduling fall sessions (Sept-Dec) late spring and those months fill up rather quickly. If you are expecting, you'll want to schedule your session for when you are between 32-36 weeks. I take a limited number of sessions per month to be able to give my best to my clients and my family.

  • How to Schedule

    • Please send me a message through the Contact section and let me know what type of session you are interested in. I will then send you an email requesting information that will help me know a bit about your family.

  • What is Due to hold your Session Date

    • A retainer of $200 for a full session and $100 for a mini session (this amount will be deducted from your chosen package total) is required at the time of scheduling and is due within 24 hours to hold your session date. I will send you an online invoice to complete payment as well as the contract for our session. Once your retainer is paid, I will send you an email confirming receipt of payment and schedule a time for your consultation.

  • What is Due before your Session Date

    • When you digitally sign your contract and pay your retainer, the balance will be scheduled to be paid 3 days before your session via the same payment method. You can change payment method at any time. The balance for your chosen package must be paid in full before our session date. I will also confirm session location and check to make sure you are set with wardrobe and meeting details for your session.

  • Copyright and Policy

    • Due to the subjective nature of photography and the nature of digital products in particular, all fees are non-refundable. Please carefully review my work and make sure that I am the right photographic artist for you.

    • Prices are subject to change without notice. Pricing is secured at the time of scheduling. All package and product fees are subject to 8.6% AZ sales tax.

    • Copyright remains with Erin McFarland Photography, LLC. Any infringement may violate federal law.

    • I require a signed liability and model release for each session. Documents will be sent to you in your session confirmation email to review and sign.

  • After your Session

    • The first step in my editing process is selecting 20 image for minis or 50+ images for full sessions to edit. I take hundreds of images at a session, but only the best are presented to you. There are many factors that determine which images I choose. Photography is an art that is comprised of how a photographic artist captures images and then the enhancements done in the "digital darkroom". Many hours are spent creating the final images presented to you in your gallery. When you hire me, you are also trusting me to make these decisions. I do not show additional images not presented in your gallery nor do I take additional processing requests. All images are final edits and are presented in color only (unless black and white images are decided on before the session). Unprocessed images are not shown or sold.

    • Within 2-3 weeks following your session, you will receive an online gallery containing 20 images for minis or 50+ images for full sessions, artistically edited and ready to be downloaded, printed and shared.

    • Products and album orders may take 2-3 weeks for delivery. Payment must be complete before products are ordered.
