I have to admit, I have a special little place in my heart for this little guy and his mama  I first met D when she was about 8 months pregnant.  She scheduled her maternity photos with me and was just so thrilled to be experiencing the wonderful miracle of pregnancy and so excited to meet her son.  Not too long after we captured her beautiful prego form, little Joseph arrived and I got to meet this sweet angel for his newborn photos.  One thing I will never forget about his newborn session is that he never peed during his “birthday suit” shots!  He is the only newborn in all my years of photographing newborns that didn’t have one accident!  Anyways, his mama is one of those people that you can fall easily into conversation with and I feel so privileged to be getting to see the sweet mother-son relationship these two have… through my lens  

I almost passed up this shot, but i kept going back to it and felt like there was such a “protective tenderness” to it… i think it ended up being a fav from the session in the end…

What a very blessed little guy you are Joseph to be this loved…
