“Babies are such a nice way to start people”  ~ Don Herrold

I really like that quote… how true, right?!?

Sweet baby Kyndall, you win the award for most smiley and expressive newborn I’ve photographed to date!  Loved seeing your little personality shining through already!

Baby bits always bring this to mind:

“For you formed my inwards parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.  I praise you for I am fearfully & wonderfully made.  Wonderful are your works;  my soul knows it very well.”  ~Psalm 139:13-14

Told you… smiliest baby :)

Beautiful big sis, Hailey…

God bless you sweet girl!  Thanks for inviting me to photograph your family D & M!

Joyfully, Erin

This little guy came all the way from Seattle, and I’m so glad that I got to meet him while he was here!  At 3 weeks old, he was a champ for all the baby posing!

When we started our session, Rylan’s momma asked me if the shoot would really take 3-4 hours.  My answer:  typically, yes.  Almost all my newborn shoots last at least 3 hours.

Baby boy and his beautiful momma!

Rylan’s baby bits…

For Rylan’s family who are Oregon fans…

I heard these little booties were on his feet just seconds after he arrived in the world :)

Thanks for inviting me to photograph your beautiful boy {A}.  Enjoy every minute!

Dear Sweet Little Penelope,

Ahem, I mean Miss Pen.  I think your name and your nickname are the cutest and I appreciate that you gave a few sweet grins during our little session together.  I know mommy and daddy will love that!

From what I hear, you were rather anxious to meet everyone once you decided it was time for your birthdate.  You didn’t want to wait for the Doctor to arrive, so the triage nurse got to help welcome you into the world.  And your mom is my hero… all natural baby!

Since you are were only a week old here, you were an angel for all the various little poses we put you in.

This is your handsome big brother Nolan.  I think he is going to take very good care of you!

You and brother are definitely related!  Just look at that image on the far left… you both just did the ooooo face at the same time out of nowhere!

And these are the beautiful hardwood floors that Daddy put in your room!  From a photography standpoint, I was very excited about that!

And this is your Daddy.  I think he’s pretty in love already!  And good thing he is because I remember what you did right after this shot was taken.  Let’s just say we had to take two and call in clean up!

You and your gorgeous Momma!  I think you got some hints of her amazing hair color you lucky girl!

And this is a very special cradle you are sleeping in Miss Pen.  Great Grandpa made this himself with love.

I’m so glad I got to photograph you so sleepy and new to the world!  God bless you little one!

Joyfully, Erin
