There are some couples that just light up every time they see each other… Karen & Gregg are one of them!  They so obviously have a great time together and make each other laugh constantly.  Their wedding was one big celebration with their families and closest friends… and here was the gorgeous location that their ceremony took place at:

Actually, a big congratulations is in order since Gregg and Karen are now Mr. and Mrs.!!  They had their beautiful wedding a little over a week ago and I am excited to post a glimpse into their big day… but first things first.  And the engagement came first, of course!  We did their engagement shoot just a week before the wedding since these two actually reside in lovely California.  And the desert continues to give us some lush green landscape to photograph in, which makes me want to do a little happy dance!  But even better than great landscape are two people who are genuine and in love and it shows…

This spot was a bit of a lucky find.  Random tree in the desert with full branches reaching for the ground.  It was almost like a little meadow… we even had to pull back some of the branches to sneak in there close to the trunk!

The next few shots were taken at a nearby home.  I really loved the stone and windows on the house and wanted to use it in the photos.  And you photographers out there know, when we see a spot that would make a sweet shot, we either go for it and ask forgiveness if necessary or knock on the door and ask permission.  Well, we did the later and I’m so glad we did!  The owner was super sweet and not only allowed us to shoot where I wanted out front, but also invited us in to use the backyard!!
