My firstborn turned three this weekend!  If you look in the dictionary under “girly girl” you will probably find a picture of my daughter, with bows and clippies in her hair, sporting a PINK summer dress, sparkly flip-flops on her little feet, and mini purse in hand.  

She loves having her “coffee” with me in the morning (don’t worry, she really gets a little mug of milk, but does all the “mmmms” with every sip like she’s savoring a great steamy latte).

She loves Mickey Mouse, animals, and taking care of her baby dolls.  We are starting to do puzzles, and other pre-school activities to stimulate her ever expanding mind… all the “what’s that” and “what’s this” questions are a part of every day now (at least she hasn’t started the “but, why?” questions yet… but I’m sure that’s just a matter of time!)

She loves her brothers (as long as they aren’t stealing her toys, getting in her way, or pulling her hair).  She always reminds me to sing “Jesus Love Me” to them before bed and then wants to be the one to close their door.  She will alert me if she sees one of them doing something that may cause them harm by saying “Mommy!  No-No-No-Baby Boy!”

She’s getting in to drawing and painting more, though that holds her attention for about 5 minutes and then it’s on to the next thing

She’s definitely moving on from those sweet baby years, but I love watching the girl that she is growing into.  I am so thankful to the Lord that I get to be this sweet girl’s momma!

This sweet girl and her mama were out visiting family here recently and her Grandma wanted to do some special photos for her big ONE year birthday!  I know all the family here in AZ are always missing their little sweet pea when she has to go back home to CO, so here are some images of Miss London to smile at until she’s back to visit in person

This one is for Auntie Kati… she loved the back of that little tutu outfit, so this shot was a must!

I love putting babies of all sizes in bowls for photos… what can I say, it keeps them in one place  :)

This next wardrobe change was special request from her daddy… i think she looks pretty darn cute!  Gotta love a baby do-rag

This one was actually just a test shot, but just look at that face!  How could I chop it onto the cutting room floor!

This session was mainly to get shots of London, but I had to get a few with her an mommy playing… especially since they were both sporting such cute head-wear!

London’s Grandma and Auntie came to the session as well and I’m so glad they did!  They had all kinds of tricks up their sleeves to get the best smiles and laughs out of this girl!  And since there’s a very common children’s song with London’s name in it (if you can’t guess it, go ask the nearest 5 year old- hehe), a little song and dance production got her doing this almost every time!!

I’m so glad we got one with this precious expression!  I learned London has a nickname… “Squinkle Nose”  And this is why…

Thanks for having me photograph London’s big one year photos!  It was so much fun spending a some time with all you lovely ladies!

I love how it “looks” like Makenna is giving her sissy a kiss!  We’ll just say that is what is happening… because she would never use her sissy’s head as a pacie

I had the wonderful privilege of photographing them in their mama’s belly and their first official photos as newborns!  So I’m so glad they came back to see me again for their 5 month photos!

Now, I was told that Makenna is proving to be the “diva” of the three girls, and I think this shot shows that!

On the other hand, she is quite the little angel as she drifted off to sleep!
