I love it when I get to see the little ones that I photograph as newborns in the next stages of their baby and toddler years.  Jack is 8 months old now… and that is proof positive that time is flying because I really felt like I JUST did his newborn photos!

What a sweet soul this little one is.  I adore this first image of him. That rocking horse was given to me from a special friend (thanks Laurie!) once her sweet boys out-grew it!

Showing the camera his maneuvers in his newfound world of crawling… oh, the freedom!

Thanks for allowing me to photograph your beautiful family!

A little peek at Amanda’s mini maternity session in the studio…

Most clients that schedule an in-studio maternity session do so in order to do photos that capture their pregnant form with little to no clothing and artistic lighting.  These are done of course in a classy tasteful way to highlight the beautiful curves of pregnancy.  Amanda looks amazing was kind enough to do a model release for some of those more intimate photos, though those are posted in a password protected gallery for you to see if you are interested in those types of photos to capture your pregnancy!  Please email me to view samples from this gallery.

Since this session was just Amanda and baby-in-the-belly, I am so looking forward to meeting her little guy and hubby for their newborn session!  Thanks Amanda for such a fun, easy-going session… it was nice having a little girl time and getting to know a bit about you :)

The fantastic necklace is made up of authentic Japanese pearls… love the soft, feminine touch they add!

Justin and Andrea were high school sweethearts… I’m always amazed at couples that have known each other since they were early in their teen years!  I hear of couples celebrating 50 or 60 years of marriage that were high school sweethearts or even knew each other as children… think about how very little life they have lived without each other.

Their firstborn, Caleb, is about to become a big brother… their second little guy is due to arrive in just a few weeks!  And yes, Andrea looks AMAZING prego!  Seriously, I think you could have snagged a spot on that TLC show “Runway Moms”.

There’s a little story to this next image… remember that movie Notting Hill?  Cute romantic comedy… anyways, there’s  a scene at the very end of that movie where Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant’s characters are lounging on a park bench similar to this and as the camera pans around them, you can see she’s got a baby bump.  I always thought that scene was such a great picture!  So, this is my own little version, inspired by that scene :)  Thanks for being perfect models for this shot you two!!

And here’s their beautiful first born boy… I’ve photographed him a few times now and still can’t get over those amazing eyes the good Lord blessed him with!  Grandma came along to the shoot and was the one standing behind me doing something really funny to get everyone smiling :)
